The Election Commission has completed all the preparations for the counting of votes in Gujarat assembly tomorrow. As well as giving this information, the state's chief election commissioner, Swain, has said that every VVPAT will be counted per assembly. EVMs will start after 8:30 in the morning. In Gujarat, total 37 places will be made for 182 assembly constituencies in which the counting centers will be made. D. Counting of votes will be conducted at Engineering College (8 Assembly constituencies), Gujarat College (7 Assembly constituencies) and Polytechnik (6 Assembly constituencies). Apart from this, counting centers have been set up in Surat and Anand for 2-2 locations as well as 1-1 for all the remaining districts in that district assembly constituencies.
According to the Election Commission of India, every constituency is made up of one counting center. Maximum 14 tables are arranged. This counting center is kept next to Polled EVM Strong Room. According to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India, under the direct guidance of the Election Commission of India, an "Ideal Voting Center" was created at Ahmedabad Polytechnic which was demonstrated by the District Election Officers of all the districts. On December 2, 2017, it was instructed to make the counting centers in every district considering this "ideal counting center".
