News of a relief for Gujarat traders, two months' penalties will not be levied

There is a news of relief for Gujarat traders. No two-month penalties for filing a GST return.
It is said that due to the date of filing of GST return, there is a provision for penalties. But GCCI does not impose a two month penalties for traders offering in the center and the state government.
The finance ministry has also issued a circular on this. However, it is mandatory for merchants to register with GST.
GCCI submitted the report to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adia, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, that there is a new tax for the traders.
As well as being technical expertise, traders are facing many problems. Considering these representations, the Union Finance Ministry has decided not to penalize for two months.
With this, the savings of Gujarat businessmen have gone up to Rs 4,000 crore
